Newborn Session

We had the sweetest little newborn in the studio today. Baby Tanwen looked adorable in her teal and black tutu and she seemed to love the attention! Her parents were amazing (mom didn't even look like she had just had a baby!) and didn't seem like new parents at all!  I was very impressed.

The Wick Family

We just love the Wick family and their new little nugget, Amelia is the sweetest thing...EVER!  First of all, she is a perfect baby - letting us pose her and giggling at just about any little thing we did. It warms my heart just thinking of this little cutie! It's no wonder she's so amazing...coming from these two wonderful people!

We started our shoot outside, taking advantage of the lovely day! Very rare this time of year.

Halloween

We had a blast at our annual Halloween shoot! Families drove from the neighboring city to come trick-or-treating at our house.  One mom even brought us cake pops! A big shout out to that lovely lady for bringing us a yummy home made treat.  The kids impressed us with their costumes, yet again this year.  We were surprised to see that there wasn't a recurring character (I'll never forget the year we saw 23 Elmos come to our door) but maybe that was just our creative neighborhood! I'm biased, can you blame me? 364 more days until next Halloween.  I love this holiday!

Marrin & Zach's Wedding

Marrin & Zach were married on the first rainy day we've had in a long time! Fortunately the rain let up before the ceremony. Unfortunately, as the sun came out for the wedding, I was stung in the bum by a bee! Yes, you read that correctly...stung in the bum! Marrin's mom immediately gave me some Benadryl and everything ran smoothly after that. It ended up being a gorgeous day at Postlewait's in Canby and I wish the bride and groom (one of the nicest couples I've ever met) the very best in their marriage and a wonderful honeymoon in Jamaica! I'm so jealous! 

 

Oregon Coast Wedding

Rain, rain, go away! That was the mantra for our day in Gearhart for Stacy and Bejan's wedding. Everyone was on pins and needles waiting to see if the rain would stop in time for a beautiful ceremony on the beach. While we waited, the guys braved it on the sand, ducking under umbrellas when we weren't shooting. As soon as we were done and just as guests started to arrive, the clouds parted and the sun came out just in time for a beautiful wedding! The ceremony not only started on time, but also ended right on time! As the bride and groom walked up the isle to leave, the tide came in and sent everyone scrambling! Timing couldn't have been more perfect! I wonder if that's a theme for these two lovebirds?!?! Congratulations Stacy and Bejan! It was fabulous photographing your big day!

Edgefield Wedding

We absolutely LOVE McMennamin's Edgefield so we were thrilled to book a wedding there!  Edgefield holds a special place in our hearts partly because we got married there and partly because it's Disneyland for adults! Larecia and Ron were fabulous and got married in The Attic located in the Powerhouse Building.  These two were adorable and didn't mind getting drug all over the property for photos!  It's also important to mention these two love to dance and boogied the night away!  Yep...I said boogie!
