Heather & Tommy's Wedding

What a fabulous wedding! I wasn't allowed to take photos in the church but it was worth it to get the series of shots of them walking out! What joy! We all feel this way after getting married and it's so refreshing to see a couple express it like this! Another great moment was when their bridal party arrived on beach cruisers! They had a blast coming down the hill and arrived to a row of people giving them all high fives! I loved it! Congratulations, Heather & Tommy!

Avery's 1st Year Session

Somebody is super excited to be turning one this month! Avery came in all smiles for her cake smash. What a little love bug! This is my third session with Avery and she is one of the cutest babies I've ever seen. Not only did Avery have a great time at her session but mom and dad did too! I wish I had filmed them behind the scenes while Avery looked at her cake curiously and then daintily went at it. Mom said she usually makes a mess when she eats but maybe the cake looked too nice to destroy, lol! Messy or not, she got into the cake eventually :)

Recharge At Rancho

Back in January when I was at WPPI, I took a class from Joe and Mirta Barnet and it was fabulous! It would have been crazy for me to pass up their Recharge at Rancho Workshop on Memorial Day. Since it was a three day weekend and my husbands birthday, we made a vacation out of it and had such a great time! While I was at the workshop, Bob drove his Hog all over the hills and up and down the coast so we were both entertained and happy as can be!

The workshop was fabulous! Thank you to models Kim Daniels, Tim Parrish, Colleen Stoop, and Alex Svensson. It was my first time working with models and they were amazing! Their fabulous hair and makeup were done by Design Visage - absolutely gorgeous - and of course, the style wouldn't be complete with out the amazing gowns provided by Mon Amie

I was also extremely impressed by the florals! The table and the bouquets had so much detail I don't think I did them justice with my photographs. It's almost impossible to show all the great work Amazing Blooms put into these items. Very impressive!

A huge thank you to Rancho Las Lomas for allowing us to use their gorgeous setting! When my husband and I renew our vows someday, THIS is where I want to do it :)

The "vacation" went by too quickly but it was time to get back to work so we reluctantly headed home on Tuesday. I love visiting Southern California and I look forward to planning our next trip down there soon.
